The motor has a 1~1/2" pulley to a 4" adjustable. I welded a frame to mount the motor and two jackshafts. I studied the pulley and chain sprocket calculators on the blocklayer site and fiddled with the variables to dial the rpm's down to 22 for the drum. I was so happy to open up the room and see our new project.and the rafters we built! Here is a picture of us at the beginning of demo day. Since it was the middle of winter, I had to build up and over the old wall and ceiling. I followed it exactly and they were perfect! They fit so tight and clean at the top and at the bird's mouth. I typed in all the things the calculator asked for and out popped a drawing of my new rafters! Thank you so much for your rafter calculator. With the new one built from your site, not only do I have plenty of headroom but I was able to design the sidewall to perfectly match Other calculators don't allow for different lengths/angles between the upper and lower rafters so I'm constantly bumping my head. I wish I had found your site a year ago when I built the first one. I unfortunately didn't think to get any pics of the frame once completed. I also used another one to make a degree wheel for the tube bender I built. Here is a pic of a chopper frame I built with the help of your tube coping program. I used your program to help me figure out the degree for a ground mount solar. Used your calculator for the first time and it worked out perfectly. Here are some shed pics as promised - blocklayer was used to design the Hi, a big thank you - I saved so much work using your hip rafter calculations, I think I saved a couple of days to have vacation instead of cursing all things I would have done wrong!

Just finished stairs for my deck, without your calculator it would take me a lot of time to figure how to cut it right. I’ve attached some pictures of the project and the final result! The stairs are about 1 million times more sturdy than the pre-existing ones and my parents are so incredibly impressed and grateful. I found it so useful to be able to tinker around with potential ideal rises and runs, tread thickness, riser, thicknesses, and nosings and see how it would impact our final product. In any event, this was our first set of stairs that we’ve ever built and it’s no easy task for a first timer. My wife and I designed and built a set of stairs for my parents, as their existing stairs were not up to code, and had been badly built. I just wanted to let you know that I found your stair calculator incredibly useful.
